Azalea is an actor, costume designer, artist, and writer. She has starred in a number of short films, including "Woman’s Troubles" and "Hurly Burly" (which was selected for a number of film festivals). Azalea is a key collaborator with Mirror Up To Nature Films and has designed costumes for several of their productions. Her poetry has been published in various journals and poetry magazines, and Azalea wrote and performed the poem for the experimental short film "L'Esprit de L'Escalier." She trained in classical theater acting at New Genesis Productions, playing numerous roles including Gertrude (Hamlet), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), and Yelena (Uncle Vanya). She has performed in, written, and directed her own short plays and attends Bard College, where she majors in Theater and Performance.
